Creating a nation of sporting heroes - Panel discussion with Councillor Sian-Ein Melbourne

During Welsh Conservative Party Conference, there was a debate on the main stage entitled 'Creating a nation of sporting heroes". Councillor Sian Elin spoke passionately about the importance of sport, and her brilliant time with the Women's Deaf Rugby Team who became World Champions this year!

Sian said, 'It was a huge pleasure to represent Women's Deaf Rugby in the panel discussion on sporting heroes! Removing barriers to sport is key! We want young people to be able to access a wide variety of sport wherever they live, whatever their circumstances. The benefits of keeping healthy and fit through sport far outweighs the investment needed'.
